Basic Ideas for the plot of my trailer

Genre - Psychological thriller

Main Character - a girl around the ages of 17/18 
A female character of this age will seem vulnerable which is necessary for a horror/thriller. Somebody has to be scared.

Story line - Initially is appears that there is somebody who is stalking/harassing the girl. However as you delve deeper into the story is becomes apparent that it is all in her mind and she is developing split personalities. 

Setting- A normal home/ 

Everyday locations 
This means that the audience would be able to relate a lot easier to the character. For example if it was in an abandoned warehouse the audience wouldn't be able to imagine themselves in that kind of situation.

Lighting - Mainly shot in darkness 
(Low key lighting)
Dark lighting comes across as mysterious but it also portrays a fear of the unknown.
